THE GODDESS OF OCHUN MAY HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER

Santerismo is a religion originally born in Africa and now is very popular in Cuba. Ifm not religious or superstitious but Ifd like to tell you about my experience of Santerismo in Cuba, because it might have changed my life forever.

I used to have a strange dream at times. It was always the same. When Ifm asleep, someone grabs my balls and squeeze them, then I scream with pain and wake up. But I thought it was just a strange dream and didnft mind much. About a year ago, when I was in Mexico City preparing for my trip to Cuba, I had yet another strange dream. When I was sleeping alone in my hotel room, I sensed someone was standing beside me. Then it came upon my bed, lied down beside me, and kissed me in my cheek. The kiss was as cold as ice, I shivered and woke up. There was nobody. But it was so vivid that I could hardly tell it was a dream. After this experience, I began to wonder if there was really something, because Ifd never had this kind of experience before.

When I was talking with a Cuban friend of mine in Cienfiegos, Cuba, I found out that he was a pious believer of this Santerismo. He had even had a ceremony to be a eSantof of Santerismo a few months before. Then I remembered my strange experience in Mexico City and told him about it. He recommended me to consult his ePadrinof, who can carry out various Santerismo ceremonies. So one day I went to the house of his padrino and had a consultation. The padrino was a calm man in his 40fs. He told me that a spirit of woman was in love with me, and that eshef interfered with my having a stable relation with a woman (of this world). I talked a lot with him and I liked him, so I asked him to perform two ceremonies for me according to his recommendations, one is to separate this womanfs spirit from me, another is to pray to Ochun (the Goddess of Love) so that Ifd find a stable, long-lasting love. Frankly speaking, I didnft believe these ceremonies entirely, but I decided to have them because I thought he was an honest man and he charged me in Cuban pesos, not in dollars, the same prices he would to other Cubans. The consultation fee was only 10 pesos (half a dollar), and each ceremony cost 10 to 15 dollars, including the costs of sacrifices. So I just thought it would be an interesting experience to have those ceremonies, even if there were no effects.

So he performed those ceremonies for me in separate occasions with some helpers, sacrificing some pigeons and chickens each time. They did look quite effective, but I didnft feel any notable effects after that.

A few months later, I noticed that I hadnft seen that dream since I had this ceremony. The dream of someone squeezing my balls. And of course, that spirit of a woman had never appeared beside my bed again. I wondered if the ceremony was quite effective after all.

A few months later, I began to correspond with a young Russian woman via e-mail, whom I knew through a web site on America Online. And everything happened very fast. In less than two months, I went to Russia to see her. One month later, we travelled together to Turkey, then she came to Japan with me. Four months later, we married. (Thatfs just three months ago). Now Ifm very happy and content, being a husband of a beautiful, tenderhearted woman. I still canft believe that I found a woman like her through the internet. I think I was just too lucky. Less than one year ago, I was just a lonely single man. Or was it because of the Goddess of Ochun ?

Well, believe it or not, everything I wrote here is true. I write down here the name and address of my padrino, so that someone interested can actually see him and have a consultation;

Rolando Barrueta Moreno, Calle 35 #4011-A, entre 40 y 42, Cienfuegos, Cuba.

     Remember, many people who perform Santerismo ceremonies in Cuba merely do them for money, and youfre likely to be overcharged a lot as a foreigner, especially in Havana and Santiago. But Rolando charged me in Cuban pesos, so the prices were very reasonable, even for Cubans. He can even make your Gerrero for 60 dollars or so, which in Havana usually costs more than 200 dollars.

     I post this article here in the hope that he will get some more customers, because I believe he gave me a lot of happiness. When you meet him, tell him that you knew him because of an article on the internet written by Momo, a Japanese guy who visited him in March 2000. He will be glad and treat you like a friend.
