Karakoram Region and Hunza Valley
カラコルム地方の中心地、ギルギットに向かう乗り合いバス。何と私の故郷札幌から来た中古車だった。
On the way to Gilgit, the main entry point to the Karakoram region.
ギルギットからさらに東部辺境地帯のスカルドゥへ、そこからさらにジープに揺られてカラコルム山脈のふもと、辺境の村カプルに向かった。
Around the village of Khapulu, in Eastern Karakoram region.
この地方をかつて支配したラジャーの宮殿（カプルにて）。今はもう住む人もなく、荒れ果てている。

これが、昔宮殿に住んでいたラジャーの家族。今では普通のきれいな家に住んでいる。だが今でもこの村の有力者で、他の人よりお金持ちのようだった。
With the rajah family who used to live in the palace. They now live in a pretty house in the village.
カプルの後、いよいよフンザ渓谷に向かった。これはギルギットの市場。 Gilgit.
フンザ渓谷の中心地、カリマバード。（標高2400メートル）
This is Karimabad, the center of Hunza Valley. (altitude: 2,400m)
かつて、ミール（領主）が住んでいたお城。（カリマバードにて）
