南極航海は続く・・・。
氷山の上でのんびりねそべるアザラシ。

やがて、太陽が西に傾く。
荘厳な南極の夕陽。

翌日、船は巨大な雪原に横付けされていた。
Unloading aviation fuel for expeditions. Nowadays, you can climb the highest
mountain in Antarctica, or visit the South Pole, if you just pay a lot of
money…
何と、ここでキャンプして船を待っている人がいた。
船がここへ来たのは、積荷の航空燃料をここにデポするためだった。登山ツアーなどに使われるという。
果てしなく続く、白銀の大地。
不気味なクレバス。
